- Duties included: design the ARPES end station, perform the tendering procedures, supervise the contractors in the design, production, testing and installation phases; develop the software interface between the ARPES analyzer and the “Tango control system” of the beamline; develop ARPES data analysis tools in python (the code is available under GPL license at https://gitlab.com/fbisti/navarp ); leadership role in designing the architecture for a “usb-cameras surveillance system” for the sample transferring at the ARPES end station, writing also the related software based on python, open-cv and PyQt; exploration of the electronic band structure of VO2, InSe, As2Te3 and WSSe ternary alloy.
